Life can take us places we never expected.
Fear. Grief. Change. Difficult relationships. Unanswered prayers. Disappointment. Questions about God. Questions about ourselves.
With 30 years of experience in private practice, teaching, and public speaking, Christine brings together personal experience, Catholic teaching, Scripture, and practical guidance to help people see their own lives through the truth of Christ.

Christine Malenda is a Catholic speaker, Life Coach, Faith Advisor, teacher, and spiritual companion with 30 years of experience in private practice, public speaking, and teaching. She will be commissioned as Spiritual Director through Franciscan University of Steubenville in May 2027. Christine draws from faith and life experience to help audiences recognize God’s presence, respond to His call, and find hope in everyday life.
Christine speaks about the places where faith and everyday life meet. She talks about fear, change, relationships, resilience, purpose, disappointment, grief, and what happens when life doesn't look the way we thought it would. Her talks begin with real life and lead people back to Christ.

Life rarely unfolds the way we imagined. Through personal stories, Scripture, and the wisdom of the Catholic faith, this talk explores how to trust God when doors close, plans change, and prayers seem unanswered.
Audience takeaway: A renewed understanding of God’s providence and practical ways to move from disappointment and fear toward trust, hope, and peace.

Sometimes life leaves us exhausted, discouraged, wounded, or simply far from the person we hoped to become. This talk invites the audience to stop striving, turn back toward Christ, and discover that failure, regret, and difficult seasons don't have the final word.
Audience takeaway: Permission to begin again—with God's mercy, grace, and a renewed sense of purpose.

How do we know when God is speaking—and how do we respond when we're afraid to take the next step? Drawing from personal experience, Catholic teaching, prayer, and discernment, this talk helps people recognize God's presence in ordinary moments and trust Him with what comes next.
Audience takeaway: Greater confidence in prayer and discernment, along with practical tools for recognizing God's invitations and responding with courage.

This is especially powerful for audiences experiencing divorce, loss, disappointment, career changes, family struggles, or other unexpected turns. I share how God can bring redemption and purpose from chapters we would never have written for ourselves—and help people see their own story through the lens of Christ rather than their circumstances.
Audience takeaway: Hope that their past does not define their future, and the courage to let God write the next chapter.

Christine's stories are for people who are carrying real things. She meets them where they are.
She doesn't pretend the hard parts aren't there.
She brings those hard parts into the light of Christ.
And she gives people something they can take with them when they leave.

Cultivating Joy offers reflections for the ordinary and extraordinary realities of a woman's life, including motherhood, grief, ambition, relationships, faith, and the quiet moments in between.

The Catholic Reset is a Christ-centered program for adults who feel tired, overwhelmed, discouraged, or spiritually disconnected and want to renew their faith, rediscover hope, and find a way forward with God.

Sometimes that step is a conversation. Sometimes it's a retreat. Sometimes it's finally bringing the question you've been carrying to God.
And sometimes it's simply remembering:
God meets us where we are.
There is still hope.
Your story isn't over.
You don't have to have all the answers.
You can begin again.
